These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at eventconnoisseur.com (the "Platform"), including all content, features, and services offered through the Platform. 2. Description of Service

Event Connoisseur is a curated editorial wedding directory and planning platform serving Connecticut and New England. The Platform connects engaged couples with wedding service providers ("Vendors") across categories including venues, photographers, florists, caterers, planners, and other wedding professionals.

Our services include vendor directory listings, couple planning tools (budget tracking, checklists, vendor request posting), vendor dashboards, messaging between couples and vendors, and related planning features.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You may register as a Couple or as a Vendor. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information to keep it accurate.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the Platform and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Couple Users

As a Couple user, you may browse vendor listings, save vendors, send inquiries, post vendor requests, use planning tools, and communicate with vendors through the Platform. You agree to use these features only for legitimate wedding planning purposes.

When posting a vendor request, you understand that your request details (event type, date, location, budget range, and description) will be visible to vendors in the matching category. Your personal contact information will only be shared with vendors after you initiate or accept communication.

5. Vendor Users

As a Vendor user, you may create and manage a business listing, respond to couple inquiries and requests, and use vendor dashboard tools. You represent and warrant that all information provided in your listing is accurate and that you are authorized to offer the services described.

Vendor listings are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to remove or modify any listing that does not meet our quality standards or violates these Terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Provide false or misleading information in your profile or listings
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's functionality
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages
• Impersonate any person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Event Connoisseur or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our written permission.

Vendors retain ownership of content they upload to their listings (photos, descriptions, etc.) but grant Event Connoisseur a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any vendor listed on the Platform or any service they provide.

Event Connoisseur acts solely as a directory and communication platform. All transactions, agreements, and arrangements between couples and vendors are solely between those parties. We are not a party to any contract between couples and vendors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Event Connoisseur shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Event Connoisseur, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut.
